This one-of-a-kind pendant is handmade from solid sterling silver, custom-crafted into a timeless piece of art that is made to last many generations. This design uses a shadowbox-style to create a chunky, three-dimensional pendant. Nestled within the shadowbox is a gorgeous moonstone bezel setting, surrounded by a tapering set of circular cutouts. Sitting atop of the shadowbox is a vibrant turquoise bezel setting, surrounded by a tapering set of silver spheres. This creates an intentionally mirrored image, meant to reflect multiple hidden meanings. Firstly, the wisdom to "be in this world but not of it", as well as "walk with one foot in this world, and one foot in the other world" is symbolized by the turquoise and moonstone "feet" walking in opposite yet balanced directions. Also, the timeless hermetic axiom "as above so below, as within so without" is symbolized by the turquoise/silver spheres rising above/without, and the moonstone. circular cutouts descending below/within. This chunky piece is crafted for the seeker, the modern mystic who aspires to uncover, reveal, and understand the mysteries of the Universe. All sheet material used in this piece was custom-crafted from hand-poured molten silver in my solar-powered, off-grid studio.
