ABOUT THE ALCHEMIST

Alien Alchemy is the Spirit-led, heart-centered, passion-fueled creation of Colorado-born artist, seeker, and alchemist Edward "Cuatro" Kruse IV. Each creation is hand forged with the intention of transmuting raw Earth materials into Divinely infused amulets of power, protection, and spiritual armor. This process symbolizes the alchemical journey of transmutation, wherein the artist undergoes a journey of self-transformation from within the heart, transmuting the heavy "lead" of human emotions, thoughts, and feelings into the divine "gold" of Spiritual Truth. Each creation tells a story, woven from the threads of destiny between the creator, the creation, and the recipient of that creation.

All of Alien Alchemy's creations are made from scratch, and every atom of the raw material used is altered and infused with focus, intention, and power. Every creation begins with smelting scrap sterling silver and pouring it into fresh ingots, which purifies and resets the material. Then, these ingots are formed into new wire and sheet material using a rolling mill and tungsten draw plates. These purified materials are then used to create various woven chains, amulets, rings, and so much more. Each gemstone used in these creations is also hand-crafted from rough material, from cabochons to precision-faceted gems. Every stone is carefully selected to enhance the energy, intention, and story of each creation. All of these Sacred processes are part of Cuatro's alchemical "Great Work", and take place in his "Spirit Forge", which is located in the heart of his self-sufficient, solar-powered, off-grid homestead and alchemical laboratory.

When Cuatro is not creating living jewelry, he enjoys hiking with his dogs, nature based meditation/prayer, reading, writing, teaching, yoga, skiing, playing music, archery, knife/axe throwing, growing food, cooking healthy meals, milling his own lumber, blacksmithing, glassblowing, natural building, permaculture design, cold plunges, soaking in hot springs, and working with his gifts to bring his sacred sanctuary known as "Hawk Hill Homestead" to full fruition for the service, education, and benefit of ALL beings.
